With your support during the recent election, CLCV-endorsed candidates won the vast majority of their races, including a wide variety of up-and-coming environmental champions in the State Senate and Assembly. Here in California, our champions in Sacramento are making real environmental progress; in fact, 2014 was the best year for the state’s environment in recent memory. We helped pass laws to protect our groundwater supplies, ban single-use plastic bags, put one million electric vehicles on the roads, and reduce exposure to toxic chemicals in consumer products. We also stopped Big Oil’s attacks on our state’s landmark climate and clean air law despite a flood of polluter money.

These victories for our environment happen because of you, our thousands upon thousands of members and activists supporting our work and holding lawmakers accountable.
