CLCV joined Assemblymember Bob Wieckowski, author of the fracking disclosure bill (AB 591) to hold a press conference last Monday on the steps of the Capitol. He cited your support -- along with the tens of thousands of signers of our petition -- as critical for the bill’s progress. But we still need your help to make sure it passes.

Check out Assemblymember Wieckowski's update below:

Thanks to you, and the thousands of other CLCV and CREDO members who have taken action online, we are getting closer to requiring companies to disclose the chemicals they use in hydraulic fracturing so we can evaluate the health impact fracking has on our communities.

But oil company lobbyists are hard at work to derail the bill in these final weeks of the legislative session, so we can’t let up. CLCV's legislative team is hard at work to ensure final passage of this bill, but we need to make sure your legislator hears from you directly -- click here to send them an email today!
