California's statewide ban on single-use plastic bags was a first-in-the-nation victory against Big Polluters in the plastics industry – a victory made possible by CLCV supporters like you. But the fight isn't over.

Just this week, our law was put on hold – stalled by the plastic industry's multi-million dollar effort to undo the bag ban. Big Plastic's cynical campaign gathered enough signatures to place the bag ban on the ballot in November 2016.
